Summary: A new law was passed in California last year that required employers with a least 25 employees to give employees notice of their rights under the Labor Code sections 230 and 230.1. Under the act, employees have the right to take leave and/or have accommodations that are related to being a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
